Are sharks really deadly?! In the USA alone (in 2020) 42,915 people died in car accidents. That same year, 3 people died from shark attacks. How much did you hear in the media about those shark attacks? And how much did you hear about the car accidents? Exactly! There’s a lot of fuss about those three shark attacks, but you hear almost nothing about deaths from cars. (And by the way—humans kill about 1 million sharks every year.)
